While we’ve been told that Kroger hires convicted felons, we also are now being told that Albertson’s, and their food suppliers, also provide jobs for felons. If you are looking for jobs for people with felonies, you will want to check out the major grocery store jobs in your area. Because there is a federal tax credit given to businesses for hiring convicted felons, many of these major grocery stores are taking advantage of the federal tax incentive and will offer these new careers for felons in both the stores and the distribution centers. Here is a tip on jobs for felons in Ohio. We received this tip from another source that caters to jobs for felons. The Kroger stores, and Kroger warehouse, located in Ohio appear to offer jobs to felons. While we do not know all of the details about the type of work, or the rate of pay, we do encourage you to contact your local Kroger location for information on their job openings. Based on our source, Kroger will hire felons understanding there is a tax incentive for them to do so. So, be sure to disclose that you are a convicted felon when you fill out your job application because this may actually help you get the job rather than being looked over and someone else, who is not a felon, being chosen. Personally, I plan to do all my grocery shopping at Kroger now that I know they support felony jobs in Ohio, and possibly across the country.
